Music

A well-known Washington DC area kids’ musician plays his heart out at a party. Prior to the party he led the kids around the block with everyone in their fully decorated scooters, bicycles, tricycles, wagons, strollers, and even ones on foot. Really no one does a neighborhood parade anymore, what incredible memories to build with your kids of simple fun.

Looking back…newborns

It is best to photograph the newborns within the first two weeks of life. They curl into little bundles and preciously slumber off in the land of dreams.

This little guy was about two weeks old at the time. He looks like a little man. His Mom and Dad were proud!

This is my daughter lying on my husband’s Eames® Lounge Chair and Ottoman sunbathing by the window. She was three days old at the time. The smile may have been induced by gas or I would like to think deep in slumber about milk. She was born with high bilirubins (aka Jaundice) so sunbathing was a good thing.

Circus lights

The circus came to town and of course we had to go. We went with my son’s best friend and his family. My son continued to talk about how exciting the circus was for days after. Below is his prized circus light wand that I subcomed to buying.
